An intense new trailer has been released for the first part of upcoming film Free!-the Final Stroke-!
Free!-the Final Stroke- is billed as the finale to the Free franchise, which follows the lives and rivalries of high school swimmers.
Produced by Kyoto Animation, the first season of the TV anime aired in 2013 with a second season in 2014 and a third in 2018. Five anime films have also been released so far.
Free!-the Final Stroke- Part 1 opens at cinemas across Japan on September 17, 2021. Part 2 will follow on April 22, 2022.
