Spin-off anime Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya is getting a sequel!
The news was announced on August 29 at an event celebrating the premiere of the franchise's latest movie, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Licht - The Nameless Girl. Further details on the new installment's length, story and release are yet to be confirmed.
Adapted from Hiroshi Hiroyama's manga series, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya is a spin-off to the main Fate franchise. Set in an alternate universe, it follows Illyasviel von Einzbern as a magical girl.
The manga has run in Comp Ace since 2007. Four seasons have aired since its TV anime debut in 2013, while its first theatrical movie was also released in 2017.
