It has been announced that the comic A Star Brighter Than The Sun by Kazune Kawahara which is currently being serialized in Bessatsu Margaret (Shueisha) will be getting a TV anime adaptation in 2025!
To go with the announcement, a comment and gorgeous original illustration from the author Kazune Kawahara was released.
Kazune Kawahara’s Comment:
All of the people involved with the anime are making it with love and dedication and they respect the original work so once it starts I definitely want you to watch it. Just from what I know there are lines and expressions that are added to the original and it's done very well so please look forward to it. It’s the first time having my drawings made into an anime and since I don’t really understand my art and I draw while cutting corners I thought that surely it would be hard to do but they made it very cute!
A Star Brighter Than The Sun is the sparkling first love story of Sae Iwata, a stronger than average girl and Kouki Kamishiro, a frail boy that she helps.
