Originally scheduled to air in July, the TV anime adaptation of Banished from the Heroes' Party has announced that it will be delaying its premiere until October.
Offering their apologies to fans who had been looking forward to the show, the producers cite “various circumstances” as the reason behind the delay.
Additional casting has also been announced: Kohei Amasaki as Albert, Masahiro Yamanaka as Gonz, Yu Serizawa as Tanta, Sora Tokui as Nao, and Takeru Mishina as Mido.
Inspired by the novel series by Zappon with illustrations by Yasumo, Banished from the Heroes' Party follows Red, an adventurer who is kicked out of Heroes’ Party, the resistance against the evil Raging Demon Lord Taraxon. He thus resolves to live a simple life as an apothecary. However, his past catches up with him when Rit, an adventurer he once knew, suddenly appears and insists on moving in with him.
Banished from the Heroes' Party airs in October 2021.
