Missing anime/figure events? There's no need to hop on a plane - simply read on to enjoy Japan's latest figures through Good Smile Company and Max Factory's WonHobby 33 exhibition!

Figure enthusiasts around the world are especially welcome to attend through an online exhibition that will run until 11:59 pm on June 6 (JST). You can even get a feel for what it's like at the physical event in Akihabara (where else?!) with a series of special livestreams! In addition to items already available to preorder, look out for glimpses into the manufacturing process through prototypes for yet unreleased figures.

We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek, so here's a taste of the WonHobby magic! Let's start off with a huge highlight of the event: this utterly enchanting Cardcaptor Sakura figure.

Originally an illustration created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of iconic manga group CLAMP, it was brought to life by the folks at Good Smile Company, which is coincidentally at its 20th anniversary. It doesn't matter whether you prefer shojo or shonen manga - this figure is truly a work of art!

Moving on, you'll find yourself among all sorts of new friends from the Pop Up Parade series - in other words, great figures that aren't out to destroy your wallet! (Can you spot Keanu Ree… er, Johnny Silverhand chilling with his new pals?)

Fans of hololive (a hugely popular VTuber group) are in luck this week - not only is there an entire space dedicated to its iconic members, but it also reveals prototypes for a bunch of figures we can’t wait for! Get ready to say ahoy to an alluring Houshou Marine, chow down on baked treats with your favorite doggo, and so much more!

Speaking of virtual stars, we can't forget the one and only Hatsune Miku! She may be a timeless icon, but nostalgia is hitting us hard with this captivating Black Rock Shooter figure. Even with its prototype, we have to admire every glorious, gravity-defying detail.

With Good Smile Company involved, it's impossible not to think of the Nendoroid series and its countless chibi cuties! You probably noticed some back at the hololive exhibit, but their adorableness definitely warrants a separate section.

Thanks for making it to the end of our rundown! That being said, this is nowhere near all of the wonderful figures at WonHobby, so check out the full album below to see exhibits from manufacturers and brands like Orange Rouge, Phat!, FREEing, Kadokawa, Aniplex, and more. If you have time, come over and enjoy the official exhibition at the WonHobby website!
