The Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture anime film series has revealed a key visual and new cast members for its first part, which will be released on May 10!
The newly confirmed cast members will portray members of an ally group and a Japanese resistance group, including Takaya Kuroda as Kensei Kuroto, Katsuyuki Konishi as Isao Monobe, Miyu Tomita as Haruka Rutaka, Shoya Chiba as Tomoomi Oda, Taito Ban as Shota Munemori, Riho Sugiyama as Yoko Araki, Anzu Haruno as Yuri Sano, Hayato Fujii as Sanshiro Tomi, Yutaka Aoyama as Tokio Iwamoto, Kanehira Yamamoto as Shiro Sazanami, Chikahiro Kobayashi as Kaoru Shizuka, Yuka Terasaki as Natalia Luxembourg, Haruka Shiraishi as Mei Ema, and Masashi Nogawa as Vallen Stark.
Three of the mecha known as Knightmare Frames have also been unveiled.
Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture is a four-part film series, with the second part to be released in Japanese theatres on June 7, the third on July 5, and the fourth on August 2.
Yoshimitsu Ohashi is directing at Sunrise with scripts by Noboru Kimura and character designs by returning staff member Takahiro Kimura and Shuichi Shimamura.
Code Geass began in 2006 as an anime series created by Sunrise, going on to become a hit title worldwide. 2016 marked its 10th anniversary, during which a three-part compilation film series and sequel film Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection was announced.
Part 1 of Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture will be released in Japan on May 10, 2024.
