Action anime Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online is set to return sometime this year with Season 2!
The main cast members are set to return, including Tomori Kusunoki as Llenn, Yoko Hikasa as Pitohui, Kazuyuki Okitsu as M, and Chinatsu Akasaki as Fukaziroh.
A spin-off from the popular Sword Art Online series, the original light novel series was written by Keiichi Sigsawa with illustrations and character designs by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. The story follows a student called Karen, who takes on the name Llenn in a VR game called Gun Gale Online.
The first season aired from April to June 2018 with 12 episodes.
Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Season 2 will begin airing in 2024.
