What's a hero without an enemy? We love to hate a villain's guts, but a protagonist's journey just isn't complete without them - especially an epic final boss. But that begs the question: who's the biggest and baddest of them all? Anime!Anime! ran a survey to find out which characters from anime and games come to mind as a final boss, so let's see which dastardly characters rank in the top 10!
10. Fukuchi Genichiro, Bungo Stray Dogs
10. Sephiroth, Final Fantasy VII
10. Sans, Undertale
9. Renya Karasuma, Detective Conan
8. Vearn, Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai
7. Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Bungo Stray Dogs
5. Ryomen Sukuna, Jujutsu Kaisen
5. All For One, My Hero Academia
4. Utsuro, Gintama
It looks like there are plenty of ties, but that's no surprise with so many iconic villains in the mix! Now, on to the final three bosses!

The Joestar family's relentless enemy has taken third place! This villain has undoubtedly cemented his place in final boss history with his cunning and cruelty, not to mention his infinitely memeable utterances.
2. Bowser, Super Mario Brothers
Bowser, originally known as Koopa in Japanese, has slammed his way into second place with 10% of the vote! As the final boss of so many Mario games, he's known to gamers all around the world. While fans acknowledged his fearsome appearances and attacks, they also recognized a softer side.
1. Muzan Kibutsuji, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
And the winner is Muzan with 11% of the vote! Feared by not only Tanjiro and his allies, but also fellow demons, his horrific violence sets the entire story in motion.
That's it for this year's final bosses! Do you agree with this list?
