Ah, Wonder Festival. If you haven't heard of it before, this event brings together tons of figures from both manufacturers and creators, meaning it's paradise on earth for figure fans! On February 12, a whopping 35,000 visitors gathered at Makuhari Messe to see what the winter 2023 edition had to offer.

As usual, the major figure companies came through with plenty of tempting items, including these amazing life-size statues. Too bad they're a bit more difficult to ship compared to regular scale figures...

Ah well, at least we have the 1/7 scale version for Ryza.

It was also a day to remember for hololive fans, with so many of the girls getting scale/action figures or adorable Nendoroids, thanks to Good Smile Company, Max Factory, Phat!, and FREEing.

Shibuya Scramble put together another exciting booth this winter, with everything from magical girls to MAPPA collabs featuring Chainsaw Man characters!

Spiritale showed off their breathtaking sculpting and coloring with a lineup that included Guilty Gear -Strive's Bridget, and of course, the queen of Vocaloid. Do we even need to say her name?

Union Creative showed fans both the light and darkness in a collection of gorgeous girls and an action-packed Evangelion scene!

While scale figures often get everyone's attention, we also have a soft spot for the non-conventional ones. Take these soft lil' Binivi Baby vinyl figures of Madoka, Homura, and Mami. (Homura might not look ecstatic, but at least no one's straight up suffering…!)

Of course, no figure report would be complete without Nendoroids. Maybe by the time the summer WonFes comes around, we'll have figured out a word that sounds right for a group of them! (A pack of Nendoroids? A flock? A batch?)

We hope you enjoyed this winter's report! Did you find anything for your wishlist? Many of these figures haven't been officially released yet, but you can bet you'll find all the good stuff at the TOM Shop. See you there!
