  • Shaman King's reboot anime is getting a sequel starring Hana, the son of Hao and Anna!

    In addition to a teaser trailer, two visuals were revealed as a token of gratitude. The first features Hao and the gang, while the second shows them seven years after the events of the reboot anime, this time including Hana.

    Based on Hiroyuki Takei's manga series, Shaman King follows a young shaman named Yoh Asakura as he battles to become the Shaman King, who is able to contact the Great Spirit and thereby remake the world in accordance with his wishes.

    The reboot anime began in April 2021, approximately 20 years after the premiere of the manga's first TV anime. The new series concluded with episode 52 on April 21, 2022, after which the sequel anime was announced.

    Details on the release date are yet to come.

  • Upcoming archery-themed anime film Tsurune the Movie: Hajime no Issha has released its latest teaser trailer and poster!

    The ensemble poster features central characters Minato Narumiya alongside his team members (Seiya Takehaya, Ryohei Yamanouchi, Nanao Kisaragi, and Kaito Onogi), his coach (Masaki Takigawa) and his former middle school teammate (Shu Fujiwara).

    Originally a light novel series written by Kotoko Ayano and illustrated by Chinatsu Morimoto, Tsurune follows Minato Narumiya, who gave up kyudo (Japanese archery) in junior high school. However, he is convinced to join his high school's kyudo club after meeting a mysterious man in a forest.

    Produced by Kyoto Animation, the TV anime adaptation aired from October 2018 to January 2019.

    Tsurune the Movie: Hajime no Issha opens at cinemas across Japan on August 19, 2022.

    Jujutsu Kaisen x Pui Pui Molcar April Fool's Joke Is Now a Real Thing

  • Classic anime City Hunter is heading back to the big screen with a new animated feature currently in the works!

    Adapted from the manga by Tsukasa Hojo, the hardboiled comedy series takes place in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The story follows private detective and "sweeper" Ryo Saeba, whose associate Hideyuki Makimura is murdered by gangsters. This leaves him to take care of Makimura's younger sister, Kaori, who also becomes his new partner.

    The manga debuted in 1985, followed by a TV anime adaptation that began in 1987. It also received a series of anime films, the most recent being City Hunter the Movie: Shinjuku Private Eyes in 2019.

    The new film will feature the original ending theme, “Get Wild” by TM NETWORK. Voice actor Akira Kamiya will also be reprising his role as Ryo Saeba.

    Further details, including a release date, will be announced in due course.

    Free!-the Final Stroke- Film Releases Part 2 Trailer!

  • Popular anime Attack on Titan will return in 2023 with a third and final part for its last season!

    The big news was announced after the conclusion of Part 2, which aired from January 10 to April 4, 2022.

    Based on Hajime Isayama's manga series, Attack on Titan takes place in a world in which the last remnants of humanity live behind colossal walls to protect themselves from man-eating giants known as Titans.

    Attack on Titan: The Final Season will return with Part 3 in 2023.
