Iconic mystery franchise Detective Conan has revealed a Halloween-themed visual for its 25th theatrical anime film!

The poster features characters hanging out at Shibuya's famous Halloween party, with Rei Furuya as Dracula, Jinpei Matsuda as a werewolf, Kenji Hagiwara as a demon, Hiromitsu Morofushi as a mummy, and Wataru Date as Frankenstein’s Monster.

Originally a manga series by Gosho Aoyama, the franchise revolves around high school detective Shinichi Kudo, who has reverted to the appearance of a small child after being poisoned by the mysterious Black Organisation.

The 25th Detective Conan movie is currently slated for release during Golden Week in 2022 (April 29 to May 5).

Upcoming anime film Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night has released a realistic news flash-style promo!

The video features a newsreader calmly reporting on the mysterious phenomenon of players trapped inside an online game.

The film is based on the Progressive series, a floor-by-floor reboot of the original Sword Art Online light novel series penned by Reki Kawahara. The story will jump to Asuna's point of view as she is forced to battle through all 100 floors of the immersive MMORPG world of Aincrad in order to escape the deadly game.

Sword Art Online Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night will screen at theaters in Japan from October 30, 2021. It will also open at theaters and IMAX in the US and Canada on December 3, 2021.

Upcoming anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 has released a new visual featuring its main characters!

In addition to protagonist Yuta Okkotsu, the visual stars his Jujutsu High classmates Maki Zenin, Toge Inumaki, and Panda, all of whom are first-year students in this film. Looming behind them is teacher and legendary sorcerer Satoru Gojo, as well as antagonist Suguru Geto. Yuta's dead childhood friend Rika also appears in her curse form.

Inspired by Gege Akutami's dark fantasy manga Jujutsu Kaisen, the film adapts prequel manga Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, also published as Volume 0. The story follows Yuta, a boy haunted by his childhood sweetheart ever since he saw her die in a car accident.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will open in Japan on December 24, 2021.
